Cowes Week 2025 dawned with a light north-westerly breeze, forecast to be replaced by a strong, building westerly, reaching the eastern Solent later in the day.
All classes were postponed for two hours, with Black Group classes moved from the Royal Yacht Squadron (RYS) line to a committee boat.
First start is still anticipated to be the J/70 Class followed by the SB20s, Sportsboats and keelboat classes on the RYS. IRC Zero and the Cape 31s are due to be the first start from Committee Vessel 1, with the larger IRC classes to follow.
For full details of changes to the schedule of races and any further postponements, keep an eye on the Cowes Week App.
