There will be plenty of sun and relatively stable south-westerly winds that will build from 10-14 knots in the early morning to reach gusts of 20-22 knots by mid afternoon.
The Black Group Committee Boat will be stationed near Browndown, and all Black Group boats will be finishing on the Royal Yacht Squadron (RYS) line from the east.
Black Group yachts starting from the Bramble line will head initially to the west, to race in the western Solent, before looping round to join the other Black Group boats finishing on the RYS line.
White Group dayboats will start from the RYS line heading downwind towards the east, and racing in the eastern Solent before finishing on either the Shrape or Bramble lines. The White Group Committee Boat will be positioned near William and will run the starts for J/70, SB20 and XOD classes.
