The penultimate day of Lendy Cowes Week has a return to gloriously sunny weather and a west south westerly breeze of 15-22 knots. Today saw a change of start lines for many classes, with most Black Group yachts starting on the inner Royal Yacht Squadron line. The White Group dayboats had a downwind start further offshore on the Bramble line, with the exception of the XOD fleet, which started from a committee boat.
Racing for all fleets is now underway, with the first finishers predicted to be White Group classes on the RYS line from around 1300 onwards, with the finishing sequence continuing here until around 1530. Black Group yachts will mostly finish on the Bramble line, from around 1400 to 1530.
