It's a perfect day for racing here at Cowes

The second day of Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week is delivering a gorgeous day of racing under bright sun, with a steady south-westerly wind of around 13-17 knots.

The first of the White Group dayboats, starting with the Etchells and Daring classes, are expected to finish on the Shrape line off East Cowes from 1315 onwards, while the sportsboat classes will finish further offshore on the Bramble line.

Black Group yachts are predicted to start finishing on the Royal Yacht Squadron line from 1415, with the big boats from IRC Class 0, among the first to arrive, approaching the line from the east.
