| I'm so not interesting, I was born in 1965, I grew up in Lymington form the age of 5, attended the local comprehensive school. My first job was for Brookes and Gatehouse (marine electronics) before building robotics for the screening and discovery of the Human Genome. Today I am a consultant for Digital Health, supporting innovation of health wearable and implant devices, medical Imaging from CT, MRI and ultra-sound and the innovation of AI for medical support and guidance. |
| Nefertiti was one of the 1st XODs built by Berthon Boat Company in 1927, for John Perkins who was then the owner of the Southampton Echo Newspaper. Now owned by Mike and Sian Hobby who have sailed in Lymington for over 50 years. Built of pitch pine planking on an Oak frame, she is one of 40 XODs racing at Cowes. Previous Owners include Dominick May who is the great grandson of the original builder of Berthon Boat Yard. |
