The fireworks spectacle marks the end of North Sails Cowes Week 2026
North Sails Cowes Week, the 200th anniversary, ended on Friday evening amidst the glitz and triumphs of the prizegiving while thousands of families, visitors, islanders and sailors poured down to the Cowes waterfront or took to the water in boats to witness the spectacular fireworks display, a long-time traditional event that has returned after a 6 year hiatus.
5000 competitors, 642 boats, 156 trophies. Sailors in 36 classes of all sizes, from vintage to state of the art, collected a haul of silverware and momentos.
